METALSMITHING
This course is designed to accommodate the beginning as well as the advanced student and covers all the fundamental topics of jewelry making – basic techniques, including sawing, filing, soldering, texturing and patina coloring. Individual attention will allow the student to progress at their own pace. Students with previous experience will have the opportunity to select a project. Materials extra.

RINGS & BRACELETS,
Jewelry Sampler - Wire
Basic wire fabrication techniques will be introduced while creating unique rings and/or bracelets. Wire will be hammered, twisted, formed, soldered, and more. The selection and use of tools will be addressed. Students may also learn how to create links and assemble jump rings into chain for bracelets. This foundation course is designed for the beginning student, as well as, the more advanced students who would like to improve their skills with wire.

RINGS AND BRACELETS
Jewelry Sampler - Sheet Metal Students will transform metal sheet into bracelets and rings while developing basic metalsmithing skills. Topics to be covered will include sawing, filing, soldering, surface enhancement (texture), fabrication, and finishing techniques for metal sheet. If time allows basic stone setting will be included. This foundation course is designed for the beginning student, as well as, the more advanced students who would like to expand their fabrication techniques.
