I started taking pottery classes in high school and have been with it in one form or another ever since. My high school teacher was wonderful and I find that his voice is still in my head when I am having trouble with something I am working on.

My work is almost all wheel throwing. I like to make things with a design challenge. I want to push what I can do on the wheel and take on new challenges in throwing but still come out with something that is useful.

I like to design things that are both beautiful and used every day. I want people to feel like they need to pick up my work and hold it.
