METALSMITHING
This course is designed to accommodate the beginning as well as the advanced student and covers all the fundamental topics of jewelry making, including sawing, filing, soldering, texturing and patina coloring. Individual attention will allow the student to progress at their own pace. Students with previous experience will have the opportunity to select a project. For your own safety, please wear closed-toe shoes to class and observe the dress code policies. Materials extra.

Sec. JW3 Connie Pfeiffer - Metalsmithing

This course is designed to accommodate the beginning as well as the advanced student and covers all the fundamental topics of jewelry making – basic techniques, including sawing, filing, soldering, texturing and patina coloring. Individual attention will allow the student to progress at their own pace. Students with previous experience will have the opportunity to select a project. Materials extra.

Sec. JTH3 Lanette Barber Metalsmithing: Not for Beginners

This course is designed for students building upon and refining their foundational skills.This course is designed to accommodate those that have already taken 1 or more metalsmithing classes. Experience with basic techniques is required. Must know how to saw, file, sand and solder. To take this class you should know how to measure and set stones in a bezel and to anneal and harden metal. Students are encouraged to bring work samples or images of previous projects at the beginning of the class.

  • January 11 - March 8
