Class: 10 AM to 1 PM (16 yrs+)
Tuition: $25 Student Max: 8

Summer is the perfect time to learn to make paper! Papermaking
is easy, low cost, low tech, and environmentally sound. In the
class, learn to recycle scrap paper and other materials with lots
of cool water to create new sheets of original paper. No previous
experience necessary! Use it to craft with, make greeting cards,
collage, draw on, or just frame and admire.

The class runs 10am - 1pm, with flex time for papermaking until 3pm. If
you’re just interested in taking a quick “dip” into papermaking, drop by
for a few minutes anytime from 1 until 3pm. Open to ages 4 and up!

Items we will have:
• scrap papers & textiles
• variety of natural fibers to form the basic paper
• some inclusion materials
• blenders & other paper making equipment 

Optional items to bring:
• thin natural materials
• textile scraps & decorative papers
• scrap artist papers such as watercolor
• water soluble paints and markers
• containers with lids to take pulp home
• forms to shape paper sheets over
• cut up old wool blankets
• papermaking deckles and frames

Full vaccination + booster as eligible is required for all students. Please email
