Clay Date Night Session 2

Back to events

350 South Main Street, Middletown, CT 06457

Our fun and highly requested Clay Date night is back at Wesleyan Potters!

Sign up now to reserve your wheel! Call 860-347-5925

Try something new and get a little messy on a Friday night. Always wanted to try throwing on the wheel but not sure you want to commit to class -- this event is for you! Join us for a fun evening in the pottery studio that you’ll be telling your friends about for weeks.

All are welcome: couples, singles, friends, etc. Students currently enrolled in our classes are welcome to bring family, friends, or partners along as well!

Come learn the basics of hand building or throwing on the wheel under the guidance of our experienced Key Members; no prior experience is necessary.

If you make a piece you love, we will finish it and fire it with your choice of glaze, and have it ready for pickup in about 4 weeks. Everyone gets one piece to take home included in the fee, any additional will be $10 per piece. We will have all materials provided, just come in and have fun! Remember no open-toed shoes and wear clothes that can get dirty! Please bring something to tie back long hair.

Keep in mind that wheel throwing is challenging and making something your first time is not guaranteed, but it is really fun to try!

Cost - $50 per person (Studio Fundraiser. Online registration is not available for this event - please call the Office to register 860-347-5925.)
