Wesleyan Potters invites you to experience the powerful work of our Resident Artist, Namdoo Kim. His exhibit encourages reflection on how parental and societal pressures shape children's identities and impact self-understanding. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and engage with this thought-provoking display.
Opening Artist Reception is on Saturday, January 25 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Namdoo Kim was born and raised in South Korea. He completed his undergraduate degree in Fine Arts focusing on glass and ceramics at Hong-Ik University in Seoul, South Korea. Kim then travelled to the United States to earn his MFA degree at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York in 2015. Kim completed his Ph.D. within the Glass Workshop at the School of Art and Design, Australian National University in Canberra, Australia in 2023.

Free Parking is available in the lot at the rear of the building and can be accessed from Birdsey Ave. The show is free and open to the public.
Wesleyan Potters is a non-profit cooperative guild formed in 1948 to promote the learning and development of skill in crafts. Classes are held year-round along with lectures, exhibits, demonstrations, workshops, and videos. Qualified instructors present classes in well-equipped studios for adults, teens, and children.
