Scholarships

Wesleyan Potters provides some need-based financial aid through our scholarship program for both adults and young people. We believe that everyone who has a desire to learn a craft should be able to do so, regardless of budget. These scholarships are offered for all classes but do not apply to workshops or short shops.

Please submit Spring Scholarship applications no later than February 29, 2024.

Submit the application to director@wesleyanpotters.com or by mail to

Wesleyan Potters
350 South Main Street, Middletown, CT, 06457
Attn: Scholarship Committee

If you are able, please register for your desired class when registration opens. Applications will be reviewed upon completion of registration. Accepted applicants will be reimbursed their registration fee. If you are not able to register in advance, please submit your application early so we can try to save a seat in your desired class should you be granted a scholarship.

Not sure about your child's schedule but still interested in applying for a scholarship?

Depending on how many applications are received, we may have scholarship funds available for late applicants.

Please submit your forms no later than two weeks before the start of class.

Our Scholarship funds are raised through a variety of means: the scholarship booth at the Spring Sale, the silent auctions at Key Member meetings, the collection of returnable cans, student and member donations of work and "seconds".

We encourage everyone to make a tax-deductible donation to our Scholarship Fund. Please see our donation page or give our Office a call 860-347-5925.
