Christian Collins received his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the Hartford Art School in 2019. He later completed a post baccalaureate program at the Wichita State University in Kansas in 2020.
Christian makes pottery for use, with both stoneware and porcelain -- primarily firing his pots in wood and salt kilns. His pots include pattern and layering techniques that create depth in surface and texture. Feeling a deep connection to making pots throughout all stages, Christian’s work is influenced by material and firing processes.
