Nathalie Maiello is a contemporary jewelry artist from Montréal, Québec. Her interest in jewelry began at a very young age and it continuously inspires her to this day. What started as a fascination for small scale objects, grew to an appreciation of technique and material. She received her diploma from Vancouver Community College in Jewelry Art and Design, undergraduate degree from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and recently completed her master’s degree from the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design at Indiana University Bloomington.
Nathalie’s work explores the physical relationship we have to jewelry and how this connection can influence both the piece and the wearer. These ideas manifest themselves through investigations of material, color, and physical movement.
