This 5 hour hands-on pottery short shop will emphasize techniques needed to throw large forms. Demonstrations will be given on how to throw large platters, bowls, and assembled forms from multiple pieces.

Participants will have the opportunity to try out new skills after John’s demos. With the Fall semester starting on the following day, registered students will be able to continue their skill development and finish and/or trim their work when ready.

Please note:
Attendees should be able to wedge 4-5lbs of clay (or more!) and possess good general throwing skills – no beginners please.
