Andrew Myers
Managing DirectorHe/Him
Andrew Myers is honored to serve as Managing Director of Wesleyan Potters. From the moment he stepped into the studio, he felt the warmth of the community - a place where creativity, connection, and tradition come together in meaningful ways.
A retired kindergarten teacher, proud husband and father, and lifelong dabbler in artistic adventures, Andrew’s journey has included roles as a nonprofit leader, theater director, actor, and singer. He and his wife host monthly “Crafternoons” - open, joy-filled gatherings where friends work on projects together (always with snacks and lots of laughter).
Andrew believes that leadership is about listening, learning, and nurturing purposeful growth. His goal at Wesleyan Potters is to support and celebrate the incredible work that happens when hands shape not only clay, metal, and cloth, but also relationships and dreams.
He’s a fan of strong coffee, multimedia sci-fi, dark chocolate, Disney magic, and faithfully roots for the Boston Red Sox and New York Jets - which means he’s learned plenty about resilience.
