Linda Schiwall

After graduating from the Rhode Island School of design, Linda Schiwall worked as furniture designer, an award-winning freelance illustrator for 25 years, and taught art for 10 years at international schools in Vietnam, Tanzania, and China. She now resides and works as a fine artist in Middletown, CT, working in a variety of mediums to create paintings, drawings, and sculptures. She has shown her work in galleries, restaurants and public spaces and has work in the permanent collections of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, The Yale Art Gallery, and the Rhode Island School of Design, as well as private collections.
