I came late to the party in the artistic world. I grew up hearing that I had no artistic ability and believed it. Then one day I was introduced to clay through a project connected to my work. I fell in love! I love the feel of clay in my hands. I love the messiness of clay and I love the potters I have met along my journey. Once I discovered I was creative and artistic I never looked back. When I am working in clay I now think, I am an artist and I am creative! My work has always had a whimsical attitude and that continues to grow. My most recent work includes painting on my clay forms. I continue to learn and expand my craft daily. I don’t know where this journey is taking me but I am sure enjoying every minute of it.
