A friend of mine was a weaver and in 2018 she gave me a lesson as a Christmas present, the rest is history.  I was hooked and have continued to take classes at Wesleyan Potters and weave at home.  I most enjoy the classes as all the teachers are very knowledgeable and supportive.  I have learned many different weaving techniques and enjoy working with color and different fibers. My creations have been enjoyed by my family and friends, from scarves to kitchen towels to napkins and table runners.  My favorite fiber to work with is silk, but cotton, linen and bamboo are also great. The atmosphere in the studio is so friendly and I have enjoyed sharing tips and learning from other weavers. I am so grateful to have found Wesleyan Potters weaving program.
