I've been creating with fiber for as long as I can remember, starting as a young person learning to knit, crochet, needlepoint, and embroider. More recently, I’ve become entranced by weaving, taking classes primarily at Wesleyan Potters and at regional fiber workshops.
Weaving has opened up an endless world of exploration for me. I’m continually drawn to the interplay of color and structure, and I find great joy in making pieces for family and friends. Recently, I’ve expanded my practice to include sewing, transforming my handwoven cloth into garments, a process that has added a whole new dimension to my work.
What I love most is the journey of learning; there’s always something new to discover, and I know I’ll never run out of challenges or inspiration. The community at Wesleyan Potters is particularly special to me. It’s a place unlike any other where artists of all backgrounds and skill levels come together to learn, grow, and share. I’m grateful to be part of this vibrant and supportive collective.
