I began making pottery by taking classes at Wesleyan Potters.  I love working with clay because it is very versatile, and each piece has a uniqueness.  While I do enjoy hand building most of my pottery is thrown on the wheel.  I tend to make functional pottery such as plates, bowls, and mugs.  I have been making pottery for about 10 years and find that nature inspires some of my work.
