Potters

I started potting 44 years ago. I always had a love of plants so I thought I would make a few planters. Before I knew it, I had fallen in love with making pots. The processes of working with clay as well as the desire to make gifts for family and friends inspire me. I particularly love to make pots that reflect the malleability of clay. Nature also inspires my pottery making.

I am now enjoying making impressions in my pots. I'm surprised I didn't do this sooner as textured pieces were among the first pots I loved and purchased. I like to chatter my bowls when the clay is just the right wetness. Although I only make bowls and mugs, I make a wide variety of different forms such as planters and batter bowls.
