PotterMember Since 2022
I have been interested in pottery since I was a child but for many years my career and family commitments left little discretionary time for other interests. Once time allowed, I started taking classes at Wesleyan Potters and have enjoyed learning from many different talented artists in the last ten years. Now that my children are grown, I am excited to have more time to dedicate to improving my artistic skills. As a key member I hope to improve my work as well as explore additional modalities. My current work includes functional pottery with an emphasis on surface decoration with underglazes and slips. I am also interested in sculptural work including predominantly representational pieces of animals and people.
